About srilankan-visa.org
An independent guide to the Sri Lanka ETA. We publish what the official rules are, and send you to the government portal to apply.
What this site is
srilankan-visa.org explains the Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization — who needs one, what it costs after the May 2026 fee waiver, what documents are required, and how the application works.
We do not process applications, collect passport details, or take payments. Every application link on this site points to the government portal at eta.gov.lk.
Why an independent guide
Search results for Sri Lanka visas are crowded with agent sites that charge a service fee on top of a government process that is now free for 40 nationalities. Travellers routinely pay USD 50 or more for something that costs nothing.
The remedy is plain information: what the rules are, what they cost, and a direct link to the official portal.
Our relationship to the government
None. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka, the Department of Immigration & Emigration, or any official visa service.
We cannot look up your application, alter it, expedite it, or issue refunds. Only the Department of Immigration & Emigration can do those things.
How we are funded
This site takes no payments from readers and charges no service fees.
Links to the official government portal are never paid placements, and are marked nofollow.
Corrections
Immigration rules change without notice. If something on this site is out of date or wrong, tell us via the contact page and we will check it against the official sources and correct it.
